ADMISSION TO UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS

International students can apply to undergraduate programs in Turkish Universities, either by taking the central assessment test-YOS (International Student Exam) which will be offered in 17 different countries in April 2006 or by satisfying the criteria defined by each university.

The admission criteria of universities generally include;

•  high school diploma that is equivalent to a Turkish high school diploma and taken after 11-12 years of primary and secondary education,

•  transcript of high school grades,

•  an acceptable score from one of the internationally recognized examinations (such as SAT I, ACT, GCE, International Baccalaureate, etc.), or from university entrance examinations of some countries (such as Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, China, etc.), or from International Students Examination (YOS) that is held by Turkish Student Selection and Placement Center.
