ADMISSION OF THE FOREIGN STUDENTS TO THE UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS OF THE INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION
From the academic year 2004-2005 foreign students will not be placed in the institutions of higher education by the Student Selection and Placement Center.
For this reason beginning from the academic year 2004-2005 the applications of foreign students to be admitted to the institutions of higher education will be considered by the universities within the limit of the allocated places for foreigners. Provided that allocated places per country are not more than 20% of the total allocated places for foreigners, applicants' admission will be evaluated by the relevant universities as follows:
a) Results of the 2003 and 2004 YÖS (Examination for Foreigners) on the condition that applicants must score at least 40 in the Basic Learning Skills Test of YÖS (Examination For Foreign Students),
b) The below given examinations and minimum scores which are suggested by the universities and the equivalency of which is recognized by the Higher Education Supervisory Board will be assessed by the relevant universities.
